To verify COAR Peace Mission's tax-exempt status on the IRS website:

[Why? Because we are a charitable organization as a subsidiary of the "United States Catholic Conference", our name or tax-id may not register as a charity for some search engines, including the IRS.]

1. Go to: www.irs.gov
2. Enter into main search box: "soi master file"
3. Click on first offered link, "SOI Tax Stats - Exempt Organizations: IRS Master File Data"
4. On the page that comes up, scroll to the boxes listing each of the states and find OH (near the bottom of the page.)
5. Click on the Excel Tables [of OH charities] "A-E" link to download the entire list of OH charities (this is a big file, 9MB, and so it will take a while.)
6. Search to find COAR either by name or tax-id number.
