About Your Donations

COAR Peace Mission strives to ensure the maximum amount of your donation goes directly to the operation of COAR Children's Village. Our small staff performs accounting, U.S. funds transfer, database, shipping, translation, travel arrangements, newsletter publication, sponsorship coordination and translation, and other functions to help donors and sponsors in the U.S. interact most effectively with the Children's Village and allows their staff to concentrate on serving the children and the community.

Our Donors

COAR donors are largely individuals, young and old, well-off and poor. They are located throughout North America.
Memorial gifts and bequests are acknowledged in our newsletter.

Volunteer

COAR Peace Mission can always find a use for volunteers - fundraising, translating, filing, working on the newsletter, educating the community about El Salvador and the mission of the Children's Village.

Board of Trustees

COAR Peace Mission's Board of Trustees consists of 12 individuals from diverse walks of life including an Ursuline religious sister who served in Zaragoza for 6 years, a parish priest, several business men and women, and teachers. All share a passionate committment to peace, justice, and the welfare of children in developing countries.

Mission Statement:

COAR Peace Mission strives to promote justice, community, and peace in El Salvador through the support of effective programs in health, education and welfare, which assist children and others, not only to develop their own full human potential, but also to contribute to the betterment of the world in which they live.


Directions to the COAR office
Located in Wickliffe, OH, on the east side of Cleveland, OH, near the intersections of Interstates 90 & 271:

From I-271 (northbound):
1. Exit right to take I-90 West, toward Cleveland
2. Then follow directions for I-90 west-bound, below . . .
From I-90 (west-bound):
1. Take exit 186 for US-20-E (also Euclid Ave)
3. Go left at the bottom of the ramp onto Euclid Ave.
4. Go right immediately into the Center for Pastoral Leadership building complex

From I-90 (east-bound):
1. Exit right to take I-271 South
2. Take 1st exit for Euclid Ave. (this will exit before you get onto I-271)
3. Go left at the bottom of the ramp onto Euclid Ave.
4. Go appox. 0.2 miles and turn right into the Center for Pastoral Leadership building complex

Center for Pastoral Leadership :
Our offices are at the Center for Pastoral Leadership (CPL). The CPL houses the Catholic Diocese of Cleveland's priest seminary, graduate school of theology, and several charities serving foreign and domestic missions. Please enter through the main office door and check-in with the receptionist.
