^ The highlight of the day's festivities was mass, concelebrated by the Archbishop of San Salvador. Afterward, Archbishop LaCalle received one of the day's many appreciation awards.






^ August 6th is the national holiday, Salvador del Mundo. Following was a week of cultural celebration, held locally at COAR in honor of the 25th anniversary. The sign behind the dancers features pictures of Monseñor Romero and Father Ken, and is printed as the headline of this page, above.
